Dr. Wylie

Dr. James Wylie is an orthopedic surgeon in Murray and Park City, Utah and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including TOSH Surgery Center, Park City Hospital, and Primary Children’s Hospital.

He received his medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Utah. He then completed fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Connecticut and adolescent and young adult hip preservation surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School.

He treats all hip and knee conditions in young, active patients. He is sports medicine trained and uses arthroscopy to perform joint preserving surgery in a minimally invasive fashion. He also specializes in osteotomies around the hip and knee and cartilage transplantation for joint preservation.

He also has a role in administration and research and functions as the Medical Director for Hip and Knee Preservation and Orthopedic Research for Intermountain Health.
